How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Join a profitable, specialist technology business as it scales its UK teamWe've been engaged to recruit a New Business Account Manager for a specialist technology business delivering AI-driven infrastructure, storage, networking and high-performance computing solutions. This is a 100% new business role focused on winning and developing high-value accounts across the UK.

    Our client is an established technology infrastructure specialist, helping organisations understand, source, configure, install and support complex IT infrastructure.

    Established in 1987, the business is a leading technology partner within the AI and infrastructure market, working closely with major vendors and delivering high-impact projects across financial services, retail and manufacturing.

    With annual turnover of approximately £74m and ambitious plans to grow the UK team, this is an opportunity to join a small, profitable business at an exciting stage of expansion.

    The Role

    Win and develop new business accounts across EMEA.
    Sell AI infrastructure, storage, networking and low-latency technology solutions.
    Engage senior stakeholders including Heads of Infrastructure and CTOs.
    Work alongside technology vendors and partners to scope and deliver major infrastructure projects.
    Generate opportunities through targeted outreach, RFPs and RFIs.
    Manage high-value deals typically worth £2m-£3m annually, with sales cycles of around 2-3 months.
    Retain and grow accounts after the initial sale, focusing on larger opportunities while a service team handles day-to-day enquiries.The Candidate

    Minimum 1 year of B2B sales experience.
    Background in technology sales would be advantageous, but direct infrastructure experience is not essential.
    Credible and confident engaging technical stakeholders and able to hold their own in technical conversations.
    Driven, ambitious and motivated by financial success.
    Professional, smartly presented and relationship-led rather than overly aggressive.
    Malleable, coachable and keen to develop within a specialist technology sales environment.The Package

    Basic Salary: £45,000-£55,000

    OTE: £80,000-£90,000

    Commission: Quarterly
