How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Data Centre Contract Manager

    Location: Central London
    Salary: £75,000 per annum
Sector: Data Centres / Critical Environments / Facilities Management

We’re looking for an experienced Data Centre Contract Manager to take responsibility for the operational delivery of a critical facilities management contract in Central London.

This is a senior position for an FM professional with a proven track record of managing contracts within a critical environment, where resilience, compliance and operational continuity are paramount.

    The Role

You’ll have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the contract, working closely with the client, engineering teams and specialist subcontractors to ensure the site operates safely, reliably and in line with contractual requirements.

    Key responsibilities include:

    * Managing the day-to-day delivery of a critical facilities management contract.

    * Leading engineering and hard-services teams within a data centre environment.

    * Managing M&E maintenance, PPM and reactive works.

    * Ensuring contractual KPIs, SLAs and compliance requirements are consistently achieved.

    * Managing client relationships and acting as the key operational point of contact.

    * Overseeing subcontractors and specialist engineering providers.

    * Managing budgets, costs, procurement and commercial performance.

    * Ensuring all statutory and site-specific compliance requirements are met.

    * Managing risk, business continuity and operational resilience.

    * Leading contract review meetings and performance reporting.

    * Driving continuous improvement across the contract.

    * Supporting projects, lifecycle works and technical upgrades where required.

    About You

Critical-environment contract management experience is essential.

You’ll ideally have experience managing facilities or engineering contracts within a data centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, healthcare, financial services or similarly high-availability environment.

    You should have:

    * Proven experience managing FM or engineering contracts.

    * Previous experience within a critical environment.

    * Strong understanding of hard FM and M&E building services.

    * Experience managing engineering teams and subcontractors.

    * Strong commercial and client-management skills.

    * Excellent knowledge of PPM, compliance and statutory maintenance.

    * A structured approach to risk, escalation and operational resilience.

    * The confidence to deal with senior client stakeholders.

An engineering/building services background is highly desirable.

    Salary: £75,000 per annum

If you’re an experienced Contract Manager with a strong critical-environment background and are looking for a senior opportunity in Central London, we’d like to hear from you
