Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience
We are looking for an experienced Assembly Technician to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business in Leicestershire.
The successful Assembly Technician will be involved in a combination of mechanical assembly, pipework fabrication and production activities, helping to manufacture specialist cooling systems.
Experience with copper pipework, brazing, refrigeration, HVAC or pressure/leak testing would be advantageous but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies.
Cut, measure, prepare and bend copper tube.
Carry out brazing and other basic fabrication work.
Install pumps, valves, heat exchangers, compressors and associated components.
Work accurately from engineering drawings and Bills of Materials.
Use a range of hand and power tools.
Carry out quality checks and ensure high standards of workmanship.
Support wider production activities when required.

You should have:
Mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
A practical, hands-on approach.
A reliable and positive attitude.
