Key Responsibilities
As an Agency Chef, you'll take responsibility for the kitchen when the usual Chef is away.
Running the kitchen independently with support from a Kitchen Assistant
Preparing and serving meals to residents
Following food safety and health & safety procedures
Ensuring meals meet individual dietary requirements
Applying IDDSI knowledge when preparing modified-texture meals
What we're looking for
We're looking for a confident Chef who is comfortable working independently and understands the specific requirements of care home catering.
Enhanced DBS required
Previous experience working as a Chef
Good knowledge of IDDSI and modified-texture diets
Confidence running a kitchen independently
Availability to work selected days throughout September
