Ripplevale School and College, is a thriving independent special school, for 170 students aged 6 to 25 years old, located in the historic town of Rochester. As part of the Ripplevale family of schools, we provide a holistic, child centred approach to meeting the needs of our students, most of whom have an Education and Health Care Plan. Are you a passionate science educator ready to lead and innovate? Ripplevale School Rochester is seeking a dynamic Head of Science to guide our Key Stage 3, 4 & 5 learners through an engaging, inclusive, and holistic science curriculum.
As Head of Science, you will
Lead the strategic development of the Science department
Deliver high-quality teaching across key stages, tailored to individual needs
Support and mentor staff, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning
Collaborate with leadership and therapeutic teams to provide a holistic educational experience
Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and data reporting
