School Reception/Admin

Are you an experienced School Receptionist looking for your next opportunity?
Hays Education are working with primary, secondary and SEND schools across Greater Manchester who require experienced receptionists and administrators on both a short-term supply and long-term basis.
We are seeking professional, confident and organised individuals who can quickly adapt to new environments and provide excellent front-of-house support within busy school offices.
As a School Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school's administration function.
Duties may include:

Managing the school's main reception area
Answering and directing telephone calls
Welcoming visitors and managing safeguarding procedures
Recording and monitoring attendance
Updating pupil records and administrative databases
Managing emails, correspondence and general enquiries
Supporting school leaders and office teams with administration tasks
Using school management systems to maintain accurate recordsEssential Requirements

Previous experience working within a school office environment
Strong working knowledge of school systems such as Arbor, SIMS, Bromcom or ScholarPack
Experience managing attendance, pupil records and school communications
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong IT and administrative skills
Ability to work independently and integrate quickly into new teamsWe Can Offer
