How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Revit Technician - Civil & Structural
    Location: Greater London
    Salary: from £40,000 (base)
    Type: Permanent

Turner Lovell is recruiting for an established engineering business that is expanding its civil design capability to support a growing portfolio of UK infrastructure projects.

We are looking for a Revit Technician with a Civil or Structural Engineering background who is confident working in a 3D design environment. You will work alongside experienced engineering and design professionals, supporting projects across the energy and wider infrastructure sectors through different stages of design and delivery.

The position would suit someone who enjoys the technical side of design and wants to continue developing their experience across Revit, BIM and multidisciplinary engineering projects. The underlying role covers civil, structural and infrastructure work from concept through construction.

    Key Responsibilities

Develop and update 3D civil and structural models using Revit.
Prepare accurate engineering drawings and technical information using Revit and AutoCAD.
Work closely with Civil and Structural Engineers to translate engineering requirements into coordinated models and drawing packages.
Produce general arrangements, layouts, details and other documentation required throughout project delivery.
Coordinate models and design information across different engineering disciplines.
Review models to identify design interfaces, inconsistencies and potential clashes.
Support the development of BIM and digital design processes within the wider engineering team.
Assist with the modelling and detailing of civil infrastructure associated with utilities and energy projects.
Update drawings and models as designs develop and support the preparation of final/as-built information.
Maintain high standards of drawing accuracy, document control and quality throughout project delivery.
    Ideal Background & Experience

Good working knowledge of Revit Structural.
    Strong AutoCAD capability.
Previous experience within Civil or Structural Engineering.
Comfortable interpreting engineering drawings and producing detailed technical information.
Understanding of BIM/model-based design and multidisciplinary coordination.
Relevant Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or similar technical qualification.
Strong attention to detail with good communication and organisational skills.
This is an opportunity to join a growing engineering environment where you can broaden your project exposure and develop further within 3D design and digital engineering.
