How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

As an Advice and Wellbeing Specialist, you'll provide holistic, trauma-informed support to residents facing complex challenges, helping them sustain their tenancies and improve their wellbeing.

    What you'll be doing

    * Provide tailored advice, wellbeing and tenancy support to residents facing complex or vulnerable circumstances.

    * Build strong partnerships with internal teams, local authorities and voluntary organisations to deliver coordinated support.

    * Manage a varied caseload, helping residents access services including financial support, health services, safeguarding and social prescribing.

    * Promote wellbeing initiatives, support community projects and help identify residents who may benefit from additional support.

    * Advocate for residents and help them access the services they need to achieve positive outcomes.

    What you'll bring

    * Experience delivering advice, wellbeing, advocacy or tenancy support services to vulnerable individuals.

    * Strong understanding of issues affecting social housing residents, including financial hardship, wellbeing, safeguarding and social exclusion.

    * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working across multiple agencies and services.

    * A recognised advice, information and guidance qualification, or a similar qualification in welfare rights, counselling, coaching or support services.

    * A commitment to delivering person-centred support and improving resident outcomes.

    Why Join Us?

Our values guide everything we do: Be Kind, Do the Right Thing, Love New Ideas, Celebrate Diversity, Keep Our Promises and Pull Together.

    We offer:

    * 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

    * Two paid volunteering days each year.

    * Up to 10% pension contribution.

    * Flexible benefits and employee discounts.

    * A supportive environment with opportunities for development and progression.
