We’re working with an established and successful business on the outskirts of Horsham, within the construction and manufacturing sector, who are currently going through an exciting period of expansion.
As the business continues to grow, they’re looking to add an experienced Estimator to the team. This is a key role within the business, taking responsibility for preparing accurate and commercially competitive quotations from customer specifications and drawings, through to confirmation and handover for production.
The Role
Reviewing customer specifications, drawings and requirements to prepare accurate quotations
Calculating costs and preparing detailed quotes for customers
Liaising directly with customers to discuss quotations, answer queries and clarify requirements
Managing amendments to quotations following customer feedback or changes to specifications
Working closely with internal teams to ensure quoted requirements are accurate and achievable
Updating and maintaining accurate information on the CRM/system
Supporting any changes or amendments required once an order has progressed into production
The Person
Previous estimating experience is essential
Experience within a manufacturing and/or construction environment is highly desirable
Confident interpreting specifications, drawings and customer requirements
Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicating with customers and internal teams
Comfortable working to deadlines and responding quickly to changing requirements
Strong IT and CRM/system skills
The Package
£35,000 - £45,000pa, depending on experience
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
Fully office-based & own transport essential due to office location
