How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Kensington & Chelsea Secondary schoolA diverse and inclusive mixed secondary school in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea are looking for a sixth form Co-Ordinator to join their school Asap

    The Role

    The school is seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic, and dedicated Sixth Form co-Ordinator who has the experience to supervisor and guide sixth-form students in their Choices for University and beyond

    Key responsibilities include:

    To supervise and manage the silent Study Area.
     To ensure an effective working environment during all periods in the school day.
    To ensure students are registered for every study period with in the first 5 minutes.
     To ensure all Students are actively working throughout their study periods.
    To ensure no food or drink other than water is consumed in the Study Area.
    To ensure mobile phone and other IT devices are used appropriately during study periods
    To help maintain a formal ethos and decorum around all sixth form working spaces
    To attend all Sixth Form assemblies. This will help the SFC keep abreast of any notices or
    reminders for teaching, learning, assessments and examinations affecting students.
    To meet regularly with the APSF identify, discuss and set strategies to secure the progress and attainment of students.
    To collate and use personalised learning plans for each individual student in both Year 12 and Year 13.
    To pro-actively support the Head of Sixth Form in checking the Dress Code, equipment, diaries etc.
    To liaise sensitively and effectively with KS5 students, acting as a role model and establishingconstructive and supportive relationships with them.

    To support, guide, mentor and motivate students whilst recognising and responding to theirindividual needs. 

    To deal with day-to-day issues of students, assessing each situation and taking appropriateactions to resolve them, using judgement to refer where necessary.

    To alert relevant staff of emotional/social problems in students' home life that could affecttheir attendance, behaviour, completion of coursework/homework etc. and to request information about student progress from staff.

    To liaise as necessary with external agencies, including Social Services, and other colleagues in the school 
    To provide objective and accurate feedback, information and reports
    Providing guidance and support to students re the completion of applications
    Liaise with the UCAS lead to help ensure all UCAS applications are completed to a high standard
    To work in conjunction with the Sixth Form Team and Attendance Officer on a daily basis, to
    ensure phone calls home are made to ascertain why a pupil is absent from school. 
    To record issues in students’ attendance as and where appropriate
    To support students whose attendance and punctuality may be problematic with their study skills and work completion
    To meet and record pupils who are late on a daily basis, in order to monitor punctuality. 
    To run an extra-curricular society of your own choosingThe school
