How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    My Local Authority client in Greater London is looking to appoint talented Fabric Architect on a Contract basis.

    The role will review, validate and enhance the council's Microsoft Fabric architecture, governance framework and operating model.

    About the role:

    Based in London (Hybrid - 2-3 days on site):

    Lead the review, optimisation and technical assurance of the council's Microsoft Fabric architecture, including new solutions, significant changes and alignment with Microsoft and enterprise architecture best practice.
    Define and validate architecture patterns for OneLake, Lakehouses, Warehouses, notebooks, data pipelines, dataflows, semantic models, Power BI and supporting Azure services.
    Review and strengthen the council's Bronze, Silver and Gold Medallion architecture, ensuring that transformations, reusable data products and reporting layers are consistent, scalable and supportable
    Review and strengthen Fabric and supporting Azure governance standards, including resource groups, subscriptions, ownership, tagging, RBAC, monitoring, cost management, workspace creation, lifecycle management and environment separationAbout you:
    You will have the following experiences:

    Proven experience designing, reviewing and implementing enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric solutions.
    Strong knowledge of OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, notebooks, pipelines, dataflows, semantic models and Power BI.
    Experience defining enterprise data architectures, Medallion patterns, reusable data products and governance frameworks.
    Experience of Azure data platform services, Azure resource groups, subscriptions, RBAC, tagging, monitoring and integration patterns.
    Local Government / Public Sector experience is highly desired.What's on offer:

    Salary: £650 per day, inside IR35
