How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Resource Operations Manager

    Location: Corby
    Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Core office hours 8am-4pm, flexibility required).

A well-established nationwide contractor is seeking an experienced Resource Operations Manager to join its busy operations team based in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating multiple projects, people and resources simultaneously.

    The Role

Working closely with senior management, you will be responsible for coordinating labour, materials and plant requirements across multiple active construction projects throughout the UK. Project sizes can vary significantly, from one-day installations through to large-scale developments lasting several months.

You will be the key point of contact for site teams, clients and internal departments, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on programme and within budget. The role is predominantly office-based, although you will work with teams operating nationwide.

This is a varied position that requires strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and professional when priorities change.

    Key Responsibilities

Allocating installers, materials and equipment across multiple live projects.

Liaising with site managers to coordinate daily and weekly project requirements.

Producing work packs and documentation for installation teams.

Reviewing project calculations and material requirements to ensure installers have everything needed to complete works.

Working closely with procurement to manage material availability and lead times.

Monitoring project schedules and resource planning across a portfolio of active projects.

Preparing and updating RAMS, method statements and associated project documentation.

Providing exceptional customer service to clients ranging from large national organisations to individual customers.

Supporting project costing and operational administration through business systems.
    About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with strong planning and logistical coordination skills.

Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Confident communicating by phone with customers, site managers and colleagues.

Professional, resilient and able to remain calm under pressure.

Commercially aware with the confidence to challenge or push back when necessary.

A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively within a close-knit environment.

Keen to learn technical information relating to construction projects, materials and installation processes.
    Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience in operations, resource planning, project coordination, logistics or scheduling.

    Strong administrative and organisational skills.

    Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

    Full UK driving licence.

Experience of working within construction, engineering, manufacturing, contracting or a similar project-led environment would be advantageous.
    What's on Offer?

Salary of £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

    Company benefits package.

Long-term career opportunity with a successful and growing business.

    Supportive and friendly team culture.

Direct exposure to senior leadership and involvement in projects across the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business where teamwork, customer service and operational excellence are at the heart of everything they do. If you are an organised and proactive operations professional looking for your next challenge, we would love to hear from you.
