Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum + KPI Performance-Based Bonus
Hours: Monday – Friday

We are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales & Customer Service Advisor to join a well-established and growing business based in Northampton.

As an Internal Sales & Customer Service Advisor, you will be a key point of contact for customers, supporting them from their initial enquiry through to order fulfilment.

You will combine excellent customer service with a proactive sales approach, identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell and develop existing customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email and live chat.
Provide professional product advice, quotations and pricing information.
Convert enquiries and quotations into confirmed sales.
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
Generate and follow up sales leads to maximise conversion.
Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Support the onboarding of new customer accounts.
Assist the Key Account Manager with account development and customer care.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Monitor backorders and keep customers updated on availability and delivery.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the CRM.
Liaise with Purchasing and Operations to resolve stock, delivery and order queries.
Maintain strong product knowledge and stay up to date with company products and services.
Contribute to wider sales and customer service initiatives.About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced within customer service, internal sales or account management.
Confident communicating with customers by telephone, email and online.
Commercially aware with the ability to identify sales opportunities.
Proactive, positive and customer-focused.
Organised with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable working towards KPIs and sales targets.
Able to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment.
Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
