Toolmaker

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Toolmaker to join a busy and expanding manufacturing operation for our Bexhill On Sea based client.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Toolmaker to provide tool making, repair and maintenance support while producing high-quality work to precise specifications and tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

Providing tool making, repair and maintenance services to support manufacturing operations
Producing finished products and completing work to specified tolerances and deadlines
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and transferring technical specifications accurately
Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality and specification
Working efficiently within a busy tool shop and meeting defined deadlines
Supporting the wider team to achieve production objectives 
Skills & Experience Required

Relevant mechanical or production engineering qualification preferred
Previous experience working within a tool shop or similar engineering environment
Ability to confidently read, understand and work from technical drawings
Experience producing components to precise specifications and tolerances
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively to deadlines within a busy environment
Flexible approach with the ability to support colleagues and work as part of a team
Strong understanding of safe working practices
