Forklift Driver (Double Handler) – Norwich
Position 1 Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver (Double Handler) to join a well-established manufacturing company in Norwich.
This is a temporary ongoing position
Job Details
* Location: Norwich
* Position: Forklift Driver – Double Handler
* Pay Rate: £15.80 per hour
* Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts
* 06:00–14:00
* 14:00–22:00
* Hours: Full-time
* Contract: Temporary ongoing
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operating a Double Handler forklift within the warehouse and yard.
* Loading and unloading trailers containing palletised goods.
* Moving and storing products safely and efficiently within racking.
* Using scanners and an ERP system to record stock movements.
* Carrying out routine quality and stock checks.
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
* Following all company Health & Safety procedures and policies.
Requirements
* Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
* Previous experience operating a Double Handler forklift – essential.
* Previous experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or yard environment.
* Good communication skills and a strong focus on safety.
* Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
