Supply Desk are seeking a professional, passionate, and dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the Kings Langley area, starting this September.
This full-time role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and is committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated to supporting young children as they take their first steps into formal education, helping every pupil develop the confidence, skills, and foundations they need to thrive.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS curriculum, monitoring and assessing pupil development, and maintaining strong communication with parents and carers. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore and learn through play.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and age-appropriate lessons and activities for Reception pupils
• Monitor, track, and assess children's progress and development against the EYFS framework
• Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports learning through play
• Liaise with parents/carers to share updates on children's progress and development
• Contribution to extra-curricular activities and after-school clubs
• Cooperation with colleagues in order to deliver the best possible outcomes
Requirements:
• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within an Early Years or Reception setting
• Passion for supporting children's early development and learning
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Inclusive ethics
• Knowledge/Maintenance/Promotion of safeguarding
