Location: Walthamstow
Salary: £51,000 to £53,000- DOE + Overtime + Benefits + Pay rise
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Shift Pattern: 4 On 4 Off / 3 On 3 Off Rotating | 06:00-18:00
 
Are you an experienced HGV Technician / Mechanic looking for a permanent position with a well-established company?
 
The Role
·Carrying out scheduled servicing and routine maintenance on HGVs
·Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and completing effective repairs
·Inspecting vehicles and identifying potential issues before they result in breakdowns
·Carrying out preventative maintenance to maximise vehicle reliability
·Preparing vehicles for MOT and other compliance inspections
·Ensuring all work is completed in line with DVSA requirements and company standards
·Maintaining accurate workshop records, job cards and service documentation
·Working safely and following all relevant health and safety procedures
·Supporting the wider workshop team to maintain fleet availability

What We're Looking For
·NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, or an equivalent qualification
·Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
·Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
·Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
·A safety-conscious approach to all aspects of your work
·Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
·Full UK driving licence
·HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence would be advantageous
