How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Mechanical Package Manager

    Location: Blyth, England, United Kingdom

    Role Overview

    A Mechanical Package Manager is required to join an expanding team in the UK on a site-based basis in Blyth. In this role, you will play a key part in driving the successful delivery of complex mechanical building services packages on major data centre developments.

    Key Responsibilities

    Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with the client and wider project stakeholders.
    Safety & Quality: Draft and implement comprehensive method statements and risk assessments for all package-related mechanical works, ensuring HVAC deliverables satisfy quality and safety requirements.
    Installation Sequencing: Coordinate with the broader project team to sequence mechanical installations, including pipework, aligning activities with scheduled programme milestones.
    Commercial & Scope Tracking: Assist with the documentation and costing of scope changes, support the preparation of monthly valuations, and contribute to the final account process.
    Documentation Management: Compile, maintain, and file all package-related O&M and BCAR documentation.
    Programme Monitoring: Manage and track the four-week look-ahead programme in close coordination with the project team.
    As-Built Records: Monitor modifications during installation to ensure all as-built records accurately reflect the final site construction.Skills & Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
    Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a construction contracting environment.
    Preferred Background: Prior experience managing process plant installations or water treatment facilities is strongly preferred.
    Technical Skills: Fully proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
    Core Competencies: Excellent organisation, time management, and communication skills.What Our Client Offers
