Digital Electronic Hardware Engineer

Sapien Engineering are looking for multiple Digital Electronic Hardware Engineers to join a defence consultancy on a contract basis.

These are initial 12-month contracts with the possibility of extension. They are inside IR35 paying up to £74 per hour.

Due to the nature of the work, on site working is required, 3 days a week from any of the following sites: Edinburgh, Newcastle, Bristol, Basildon or Southampton.

Job requirements:

* High speed digital electronic design

* Schematic capture + layout

* High speed serial comms

* Digital design techniques – decoupling, controlled impedance etc.

* Hands on electronic experience – integration

* Full lifecycle design

* DxDesigner

* Previous aerospace/defence experience highly preferred
