We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Sewing Machinist to join a friendly and supportive manufacturing team based in Wellington. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop hands-on skills in industrial sewing and manufacturing.
The Role:
• Learning to operate industrial sewing machines safely and effectively
• Working with a variety of materials and fabrics
• Supporting the production of high-quality finished products
• Following patterns, specifications and instructions accurately
• Developing strong standards of workmanship and attention to detail under guidance
• Building confidence through on-the-job training and support
