How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    UK Sales Administrator
    Sunbury on Thames | £28-32K + 25 Days Holiday + Healthcare + Pension + Life Assurance | Full-Time, 37.5 Hours | Permanent

    Are you a Sales and Customer Service Administrator with strong attention to detail and experience supporting customers, orders and administrative processes.
    A well-established technology business is looking for an organised and customer-focused Sales and Customer Service Administrator to support its EMEA Customer Service team. You will play an important role in keeping daily operations running smoothly, covering order processing, quotations, shipment tracking and accurate system administration. This is an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator looking to develop within commercial operations and customer support.

    Job Responsibilities

    Process customer orders, sample requests and internal orders accurately.
    Prepare standard customer quotations and maintenance contract quotations.
    Monitor shipments and provide proactive delivery updates to customers.
    Support delayed or rerouted shipments and prepare dispatch documentation.
    Create and maintain accurate customer information within the ERP system.
    Assist with routine pricing and database updates.
    Provide customers with relevant compliance, quality and product certificates.
    Maintain accurate records and complete daily administrative workflows.

    Skills & Knowledge Required

    Have 2+ years’ experience in customer service, administration or data entry.
    Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
    Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
    Deliver a professional and customer-focused service.
    Be confident learning ERP and CRM systems such as SAP and Salesforce.
    Manage multiple administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
    Work effectively within a collaborative customer service environment.
    Have knowledge of shipping processes or carrier portals such as DHL or UPS – advantageous.

    The successful Customer Service Administrator will receive 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, healthcare benefits, contributory pension, life assurance, income protection and on-site parking
