How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Resident Liaison Officer

    Salary: £30,000 – £36,000
    Location: Glasgow / Scotland
    Permanent | Full-Time

    GS3 Recruitment is working with an established construction and energy business that is continuing to grow its project portfolio across Scotland.

    An opportunity has arisen for a Resident Liaison Officer to join the team, supporting refurbishment and improvement works and acting as the link between residents, site teams and project management.

    This is a people-focused role where strong communication, organisation and the ability to deal with issues professionally are essential.

    The Role:

    As Resident Liaison Officer, you will work closely with residents throughout the delivery of construction projects, keeping people informed and making sure questions, concerns and issues are dealt with efficiently.

    You will regularly communicate with residents before and during works, helping to minimise disruption and ensuring they understand what is happening and when.

    The role is Glasgow based, but travel throughout Scotland will be required depending on project locations.

    Key Responsibilities

    *

    Act as the main contact for residents throughout refurbishment works

    *

    Provide clear updates on project programmes, planned works and timescales

    *

    Build positive relationships with residents and maintain a professional approach

    *

    Visit properties and speak directly with residents to understand any concerns

    *

    Arrange and attend resident meetings and information sessions

    *

    Keep accurate records of communications, feedback and outstanding issues

    *

    Coordinate resident updates with Site Managers and the wider project team

    *

    Make sure individual resident requirements are communicated to the site team

    *

    Deal with complaints and work with the project team to reach suitable resolutions

    *

    Help reduce disruption to residents during construction works

    *

    Record activity and updates using company systems

    *

    Provide regular feedback to the project and management teams

    About You

    We are looking for someone who is confident dealing with people, able to build rapport quickly and comfortable having conversations with residents in a variety of circumstances.

    Previous experience in a resident liaison, customer service, housing, property or construction environment would be beneficial, although candidates from other strong customer-facing backgrounds will also be considered.

    You will need to be organised, approachable and able to manage your own workload while working closely with site and project teams.
