MET Recruitment are currently recruiting for Production Operatives working within a busy GRP manufacturing environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a Monday to Thursday working pattern, giving you every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off! This is a TEMP - PERM role where you will be taken on after 12 weeks with MET!
The Role
As a Production Operative, you will be working with GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) to manufacture products to a high standard.
Duties will include:
Working with GRP and composite materials
Laminating and applying fibreglass materials
Preparing moulds and materials
Trimming, finishing and checking products
Using hand tools and production equipment
Following manufacturing instructions and specifications
Quality checking finished products
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Working as part of a team to meet production targets
About You
We are looking for candidates who are:
Reliable, hardworking and punctual
Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
Happy working with GRP/fibreglass materials
Able to follow instructions and production processes
Quality focused with good attention to detail
Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
Previous experience in GRP, fibreglass, composites or manufacturing would be advantageous, but full training can be provided for the right person
