The Opportunity

Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a well-established facilities management and building services organisation seeking an experienced Mechanical Plumber to join its small works team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking for a varied, customer-facing role across commercial properties, undertaking planned maintenance, installations, fault finding, and mechanical system repairs. The successful candidate will work closely with the Contracts Manager to deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out maintenance of commercial and domestic heating installations.

* Work on boilers, pipework, valves, pumps, controls, and associated mechanical equipment.

* Complete installation and maintenance of plumbing, drainage, and sanitation systems.

* Diagnose faults and undertake effective problem-solving across mechanical systems.

* Investigate plant performance and system efficiency issues.

* Carry out testing and certification within the scope of qualifications held.

* Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and in line with industry standards.

* Maintain excellent client relationships and service delivery standards.

Requirements

* Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or a related discipline.

* Experience working on commercial gas heating systems.

* Experience within plant room installations.

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
