This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, professional individual to develop and teach plumbing across a range of courses, working with both full-time and part-time learners. You'll plan, deliver and assess vocational programmes, act as personal tutor to your learner groups, and help shape best practice across the department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, deliver and develop plumbing programmes for groups of learners
* Assess learners against established guidelines
* Act as personal tutor, providing feedback on progress to students and managers
* Monitor and manage attendance and standards of behaviour
* Contribute to quality procedures and self-assessment processes
* Keep up to date with curriculum developments in the vocational area
Requirements:
* Cert Ed/PGCE or relevant teaching qualification (or willing to work towards)
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant vocational sector
* Recent, relevant industry experience within plumbing
* Assessor Award desirable (or willing to work towards)
* English and Maths to at least Level 2 desirable
* Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
