How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are actively seeking a Resident Doctor to work in Haematology and Oncology and gain exceptional exposure to complex inpatient care, specialist stem cell transplant work, and advanced therapies. This Resident Doctor in Haematology and Oncology role offers strong clinical development for post-MRCP clinicians who want to build experience in a high-quality setting before specialty training.

    You will benefit from broad case mix, close consultant oversight, and a rota that includes both day and night shifts. This is a strong opportunity for a Resident Doctor, Haematology Doctor, or Oncology Doctor seeking specialist exposure and structured support.

    Package & Benefits

    • Salary up to £85,000 per annum FTE, DOE.

    About the Company

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide day-to-day inpatient medical management for haematology and oncology patients.

    • Clerk planned and unplanned admissions, complete ward rounds, and lead routine clinical reviews.

    • Manage acutely unwell patients, respond to medical emergencies, and support end-of-life care where required.

    • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient pathways.

    About You

    • GMC registered with a UK licence to practise, with completed Foundation Years and at least IMT-2, Core Medical Training, or equivalent experience.

    • At least 1 year’s experience in haematology and oncology.

    • Full MRCP and confidence managing acutely unwell patients and complex medical presentations.
