As a Project Engineer, you will provide technical leadership on international bridge projects. You will manage the engineering process, monitor technical quality and translate customer requirements into safe, practical solutions. You will work closely with CAD Engineers, Structural Engineers and production partners and will be involved in projects from quotation through to completion.
For this role our client is seeking a Project Engineer who can supply leadership and innovation. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing technical advice for quotations, tenders and procurement processes
* Assessing technical feasibility, risks and execution methods
* Managing internal and external engineering partners
* Monitoring engineering schedules, technical quality and project documentation
* Coordinating with project management, production, procurement and assembly teams
Our client is looking for:
* A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable discipline;
* Previous experience in steel construction or civil engineering
* Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
* Knowledge of steel structures, structural engineering and relevant standards would be an advantage
This is a hybrid role which will involve some travel to sites. The core hours for this role are Monday-Friday, 9-5.
