How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Office Administrator / E-commerce Assistant to join a busy and growing local business.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys a mixture of administration, customer contact and online work. You do not need extensive experience, but you should be confident using computers, have good attention to detail and be genuinely interested in websites, e-commerce and digital content.

The role will predominantly involve supporting the day-to-day running of the office while helping with the development and maintenance of the company's online sales activity.

    The Role:

Supporting general office activities, including answering incoming telephone calls and assisting customers
Providing occasional support on a customer parts counter
Helping prepare product information for a new website, including descriptions and photographs
Reviewing and testing website content to identify errors, inconsistencies or missing information
Carrying out competitor price comparisons and updating information where required
Creating and maintaining product listings on eBay and Amazon
Monitoring online customer messages, enquiries and requests
Keeping product and customer information accurate and up to date
Assisting with general administration and supporting colleagues across the business
Helping with other website and e-commerce projects as the role develops
The ideal Office Administrator / E-commerce Assistant will have:

    Essential:

Good general computer skills and confidence learning new systems
    Strong attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
An organised approach and the ability to manage different tasks
A willingness to learn and use initiative
    A helpful, customer-focused attitude
An interest in websites, online selling or e-commerce
    Desirable:

Some previous office, administration, retail or customer service experience
Experience using eBay, Amazon or other online marketplaces
Previous exposure to website administration or uploading product information
An interest in digital content, photography or online retail
This role could suit someone at the beginning of their career who wants to build practical experience across administration and e-commerce. It offers plenty of variety, full training and the opportunity to develop your responsibilities as your knowledge grows.

The role also offers workplace parking and a holiday allowance that increases with service.
