Love fashion, numbers and making sure the right product gets to the right place at the right time? We're looking for an organised and commercially minded Allocator to join a growing women's fashion retailer based in East London.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Merchandising and Buying, with the chance to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
With a growing network of stores, e-commerce and a large concession estate across the UK, this is a busy business where there is always something happening!
What will you be doing?
Working closely with the Buying & Merchandising team, you'll play a key role in making sure stores have the right stock at the right time.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Allocating stock across the concession estate
* Monitoring sales performance, stock levels and availability
* Analysing weekly trading reports and identifying replenishment opportunities
* Helping to maximise availability and sell-through
* Coordinating product samples for e-commerce photography, buying meetings, fit sessions and supplier reviews
* Liaising with suppliers, the distribution centre, stores and internal teams
* Maintaining accurate product and stock records
* Supporting the wider Buying & Merchandising team with day-to-day administration
What are we looking for?
This role would suit someone who is organised, analytical and keen to learn.
You will need to have experience within retail, merchandising, buying administration or allocations perhaps as an intern or placement year.
You'll ideally have:
* Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset
* Good Excel and IT skills
* Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strong communication skills
* A genuine interest in fashion and retail
* A positive, proactive attitude
* The desire to learn, develop and build a long-term career in merchandising
