How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are now looking for a Manufacturing Engineer (NPI) to play a pivotal role in transforming groundbreaking technologies into world-class products.

    As Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead the introduction of new products into production, ensuring they are efficiently industrialised, scalable, cost-effective, and capable of meeting the highest quality standards.

    You'll work at the heart of innovation, collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to bridge the gap between product development and successful manufacturing.

    This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, driving process improvements, and making a tangible impact on the success of cutting-edge products.

    Experience:

    As the successful Manufacturing Engineer you should have significant experience within an electro-mechanical manufacturing or production engineering environment.

    You should have proven experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) activities within a manufacturing setting.

    Also required is a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process validation, PFMEA, Control Plans, and APQP methodologies.

    Qualifications:

    Ideally you will have achieved an HND or Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, or similar relevant discipline.

    Additional Information:

    Candidates MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK without ever requiring sponsorship.

    Copies of Passport and Visa will be requested for verification.

    Salary:

    £40-55k, depend on experience, plus a wide range of benefits
