How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The successful candidate will combine technical understanding with commercial drive, working with engineers, manufacturers, OEMs and production teams to identify problems and develop practical solutions.
    Importantly, this isn't a commodity sales role. You'll be selling high-quality, technically differentiated equipment, supported by experienced applications and engineering specialists.
    The Role
    You'll develop and manage relationships with manufacturers and production engineers, identifying opportunities where industrial process heat technology can improve manufacturing processes, efficiency and automation.

    * Plastics processing
    * Textile production
    * Electronics manufacturing
    * Drying, heating, shrinking and forming
    * Process automation and machinery
    You'll spend time understanding the customer's manufacturing challenge before recommending the most appropriate technical solution.
    The role will involve a combination of new business development, account management, technical consultation and solution selling.
    You'll be supported by an experienced engineering and applications team, together with comprehensive product and technical training.
    The Candidate:
    * You must have experience of selling an industrial product that used within the process industry
    * Technically curious with a genuine interest in engineering
    * Confident communicating with engineers, production managers and senior decision-makers
    * Skilled at developing long-term customer relationships
    * Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working autonomously
    * Comfortable managing your own territory and sales pipeline
    * Ambitious to progress into a Sales Management position
