How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Parts Administrator

    £26,000 per annum, Permanent, To start asap, Full-time 37 hours per week, BS31 Keynsham, Bristol, Parking, Pension, 33 Days holiday plus more

    Established for over 75 years and a leading manufacturing business within their sector who are now seeking a parts administrator to join their growing team. Reporting and receiving support from a team leader, this opportunity will see you working within a team orientated business as part of their aftermarket team.

    This Parts administrators role will see you carrying out duties such as :

    Prepare quotations, service and spares.
    Sales order entry.
    Progress spares orders through to dispatch.
    Process timesheets for Field Service Engineers and submit for management authorisation.
    Process expenses for Field Service Engineers and submit for management authorisation.
    Collate Service reports and issue relevant actions.
    Provide travel arrangement support as necessary, flights, hotels, visas, hire cars.
    Manage vehicle/pool car administration, mileage logs, servicing, MOT, maintenance, cleaning.
    General administration including despatch advice, visit confirmation, risk assessments and method statements, filing, and answering customer calls.
    Support production administration requirements.
    Other duties as may be required

    This opportunity as parts administrator will have a need for the successful candidate to hold a strong administrative background with a customer focused approach to their work. It would be beneficial for you to have ERP systems experience and have previous experience working within a engineering based business.

    This would be the ideal role for someone who has worked as a sales administrator, parts administrator or spares administrator.
