We are currently looking for a Process Water Technician to join our Extrusion team supporting both our Clover Nook and Birchwood site in Somercotes, Alfreton to help maintain the efficient operation of our process water systems.

As a Process Water Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our extrusion operations by ensuring process water systems remain safe, efficient, and fully operational. Your work will help maintain product quality, minimise downtime, and support continuous production across our manufacturing sites.

WHAT OUR WATER OPERATIVES DO:

Maintain process water systems across both Eurocell sites, Clover Nook and Birchwood
Replace and clean filtration equipment to ensure optimal system performance
Monitor stock levels and maintain inventories of chemicals, PPE, and process water equipment
Check, replace, and dose chemical systems as required
Carry out tank bleed-off activities and routine process water maintenance
Inspect, clean, and maintain downstream equipment within extrusion halls
Safely dispose of waste generated from process water and chiller systems
Work closely with production teams to support cleaning and maintenance activities
Monitor system performance and promptly report any issues or incidents
Assist the maintenance department with additional operational and ad hoc tasks as required

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR WATER OPERATIVE:

Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, utilities, or maintenance environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to health, safety, and quality standards
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
A proactive approach to maintenance, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently when required
