How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Support new product launches, promotions and website campaigns.

    Graphic Design & Marketing

    * Create and edit graphics for products, promotions, website banners and marketing materials.

    * Use Adobe Illustrator to prepare visual content for online and promotional use.

    * Process online orders, returns and refunds accurately and efficiently.

    * Respond to customer enquiries by email, live chat and telephone.

    * Liaise with the warehouse and logistics team to support smooth order fulfilment.

    * Pick and pack customer orders carefully and accurately when required.

    Stock & General Operations

    * Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the warehouse team.

    * Assist with receiving deliveries and general warehouse duties when required.

    * Support the wider day-to-day operation of the e-commerce department.

    * Review sales and customer behaviour data to help identify opportunities for improvement.

    * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

    * Good written and verbal communication skills.

    * Strong organisational and time-management skills.

    * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    * Creative mindset with a good eye for visual presentation.

    * Strong interest in e-commerce, digital marketing and online retail.

    * Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

    Desirable

    * Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, Amazon or eBay.

    * Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing.

    * Experience creating digital graphics, website content or social media material.

    * Previous experience in e-commerce, retail, marketing, administration or a similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
