As Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will join an established Quality team and take responsibility for ensuring products and associated documentation meet customer, industry and internal quality requirements. This is a hands-on manufacturing quality role covering product inspection and release, customer documentation, First Articles/PPAP, calibration and Quality Management System activities.

Key responsibilities of Senior Quality Assurance Specialist:
Ensure finished products, orders and associated documentation meet customer requirements prior to release
Prepare and complete customer quality documentation including First Articles, PPAPs, certification uploads, customer forms and physical property reports
Interpret customer drawings, specifications, purchase orders and quality requirements to identify key inspection characteristics
Support the investigation and tracking of product quality issues, using data and trends to help drive continuous improvement
Maintain accurate quality records and electronic systems including SAP and other Quality/Manufacturing systems
Lead and administer calibration activities, including coordinating calibration services and resolving calibration non-conformities
Support internal QMS activities, customer audits and product substantiation reviews
Participate in Lean and Six Sigma improvement activities and support quality training across the site
Skills Required of Senior Quality Assurance Specialist:
5+ years' experience within Quality in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of quality procedures, inspection techniques, engineering drawings and specifications
Experience of First Article Inspection and/or PPAP documentation
Experience working within ISO/AS Quality Management Systems
Confident using standard measuring equipment and interpreting engineering drawings
Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or JD Edwards
Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively across manufacturing, engineering and quality teams
Experience within precision manufacturing, aerospace or a similarly regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous
