How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Analyse process, electrical, and yield data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Lead root cause investigations relating to process excursions, yield performance, and device-related issues.
Apply continuous improvement methodologies including SPC, DOE, and FMEA techniques.
Support process qualification activities, technology gate reviews, and change control processes.
Collaborate with Process and Yield Engineering teams to improve process capability, device performance, and manufacturing yield.
Support the successful transfer of new technologies into full-scale manufacturing.
Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements. About You We are looking for a motivated and analytical engineer with a background in semiconductor manufacturing, process development, or technology integration.
You will have a strong understanding of how manufacturing processes interact and influence device performance, yield, and operational efficiency, alongside the ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.

    Essential Requirements
Experience within a semiconductor manufacturing or process development environment.
Strong understanding of semiconductor wafer fabrication processes and process interactions.
Experience in process integration, process development, or technology transfer activities.
Ability to analyse process, electrical, and yield data to support decision-making and problem solving.
Experience applying structured problem-solving techniques within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of SPC, DOE, FMEA, and change control methodologies.
Degree in Physics, Engineering, Materials Science, Electronics, or a related scientific or engineering discipline.
British citizenship is required for this position.  Desirable Requirements
Experience with III-V compound semiconductor technologies.
Knowledge of GaAs and/or GaN manufacturing technologies.
Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement training and experience.  What's on Offer?
Opportunity to work on cutting-edge semiconductor technologies.
Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Contribute to the development and production of next-generation products.
Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities.
