How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Administrator

    Location: Risby, Bury St Edmunds

    Hours: Full time (part time considered)

    Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Administrator looking for an interesting and varied role? Could you fulfil a vital support function within a busy office?

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected St. James’s Place Partner Practice, who provide bespoke financial advice and services to a broad range of private clients, individuals, families and businesses.
    You’ll become an important part of a friendly, collaborative team where everyone works together to deliver an exceptional level of service. This is a varied role in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

    The Role: Administrator

    You will be the ‘Go To' person for clients and third parties dealing with general enquiries, along with varied and interesting responsibilities including;

    * Providing a high level of administrative support while maintaining an excellent level of customer service to clients of the Practice

    * Submitting new business using bespoke software

    * Sending out correspondence and requests for information

    * Managing the database of clients and diary management for the Advisors

    * Preparing and collating key information for clients' annual reviews

    * Managing the CRM Database (Salesforce) and keeping all client details up to date

    * Liaising with SJP admin teams to ensure all processes are compliant and completed within agreed timescales

    * Training can be provided and there is scope within this role to progress and as you develop your knowledge within this exciting and fast paced environment.

    The Person: Administrator

    We’re looking for an enthusiastic and capable Administrator who takes pride in providing excellent support and going the extra mile for colleagues and clients.
    Ideally, you will have:

    * Previous experience in an administrative or office-support role within Financial Services, ideally within an SJP or IFA Practice

    * Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong, professional client relationships

    * Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify issues, solve problems and think on your feet

    * Strong organisation, time-management and planning skills

    * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

    * Confidence communicating with colleagues, clients and third parties

    * The ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion

    * A proactive, positive approach and the willingness to learn and develop
