How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Act as the primary Logistics Engineering point of contact for assigned projects and worksites.
Plan, manage and coordinate logistics engineering activities in line with project schedules, milestones and programme objectives.
Establish, maintain and quality-assure worksite inventories, ensuring accurate and traceable logistics and hazard information.
Develop and maintain key logistics documentation, including:

    Vehicle Movement Reports
    Routing Diagrams
    Throughput Calculations
    Specialist Equipment Reports
    Storyboards and supporting technical assessments
Develop safe and efficient transport routes and movement strategies for materials, equipment and waste.
Identify logistics resources, specialist equipment and lead-time requirements ahead of mobilisation.
Work collaboratively with contractors, suppliers, logistics partners and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Support the development of Pre-Construction Information (PCI) and Construction Phase Plans (CPP).
Provide effective handover of logistics arrangements, inventory, constraints, planned movements and outstanding actions into mobilisation and execution.
Provide ongoing technical support during delivery, maintaining continuity between logistics planning and site execution.
Monitor logistics progress, identifying risks, constraints, interfaces and opportunities for improvement.
Support project close-out, including reconciliation of inventory, logistics records, equipment and outstanding actions.
Contribute to the development of logistics processes, systems, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
    What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with proven experience in Logistics Engineering, logistics planning or a related technical role within a complex industrial, engineering, construction, decommissioning or operational environment.
    You should have experience in:

    Worksite logistics assessment and planning.
Access, routing, material/equipment movement, handling and storage/laydown.
Developing logistics strategies and technical plans to support project delivery.
Inventory management, data quality and traceability.
Working across multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
Producing technical reports, assessments and planning documentation.
Integrating logistics requirements into engineering design and project planning.
Working within structured, regulated or safety-critical environments.
Using digital inventory, logistics, asset management or similar systems.A relevant technical, engineering, logistics or vocational qualification/apprenticeship is desirable, although demonstrable equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

    Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be particularly advantageous:

    Nuclear decommissioning
    Nuclear or highly regulated environments
    Construction or heavy industrial projects
CDM and its application to logistics and project delivery

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile nuclear decommissioning programme where your logistics engineering expertise will have a direct impact on how complex worksites are planned, mobilised and delivered.
You will be working at the heart of multidisciplinary project teams, helping to turn engineering and decommissioning requirements into safe, practical and efficient logistics solutions.

If you have a strong background in logistics engineering, logistics planning or complex industrial project delivery and are looking for your next long-term nuclear opportunity, we'd like to hear from you
