We’re recruiting for an experienced Key Accounts Manager to join a growing specialist environmental services business. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, identifying commercial opportunities and taking ownership of a portfolio of key accounts.
The Role:
* Manage and develop a portfolio of key client accounts
* Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
* Act as the main point of contact for commercial and service discussions
* Identify opportunities to grow revenue and increase account value
* Develop and deliver annual account development plans
* Drive upselling and cross-selling across the wider service offering
* Prepare and deliver monthly client performance presentations
* Lead quarterly and annual business reviews
* Monitor account performance against agreed KPIs
* Resolve client issues quickly and professionally
* Work closely with Operations, Service and Technical teams
* Ensure services are delivered in line with client expectations and contracts
* Gather client feedback and identify service improvements
* Produce monthly and quarterly account performance reports
* Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and account information
* Monitor retention, satisfaction and portfolio growth
* Identify trends and new opportunities within existing accounts
* Support the wider sales strategy and commercial objectives
About You:
* Proven experience in Key Account Management, Sales or Business Development
* Experience within pest control, environmental services or a related sector is highly desirable
* Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to identify opportunities
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
* Confident presenting to senior stakeholders
* Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
* Target-driven, organised and commercially focused
* Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities
* Strong analytical and reporting skills
* Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
* Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel
The Package:
£40,000 basic salary
