The Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work closely with our clinical team to support patients and contribute to the smooth and effective delivery of care.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing compassionate, respectful and person-centred care to patients.
* Supporting clinicians with routine clinical duties and patient care.
* Recording observations and undertaking relevant clinical checks within your competency.
* Preparing treatment and consultation areas.
* Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
* Supporting the wider team with the day-to-day running of the service.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure patients receive an excellent standard of care.
We are looking for someone who is:
* An experienced Healthcare Assistant with a genuine passion for patient care.
* Experience with phlebotomy, ECG, Spiro, woundcare and healthchecks
* Friendly, approachable and compassionate.
* Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Confident communicating with patients and colleagues.
* Able to work calmly and professionally in a busy healthcare environment.
Previous experience within a GP practice, primary care or a similar clinical setting would be advantageous but not essential
