How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing precise welding operations using (TIG) techniques to fabricate and assemble metal components. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality welds that meet strict safety and industry standards. The successful applicant will contribute to our commitment to excellence in metal fabrication, supporting various projects that require meticulous craftsmanship and mechanical expertise.

    Duties

    * Execute TIG welding on a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and other alloys, ensuring strong and clean welds.

    * Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment efficiently to prepare materials for welding processes.

    * Assist in the fabrication of sheet metal components and assemblies according to detailed specifications and technical drawings.

    * Perform stick welding when necessary to complete specific tasks or repair work.

    * Conduct inspections of welds for quality, consistency, and adherence to safety standards; make adjustments as needed.

    * Support the assembly process by fitting and aligning parts accurately before welding.

    * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

    * Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

    Requirements

    * Proven experience in TIG welding with a strong understanding of welding techniques and safety procedures.

    * Knowledge of stick welding as a complementary skill for diverse fabrication needs.

    * Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical knowledge relevant to metalworking.

    * Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.

    * Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.

    * Experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes is highly desirable.

    * Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to producing high-quality work.
