How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality fabricated parts. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship are prioritized.

    Duties

    * Set up press brake machines by selecting appropriate tooling and programming the machine based on technical drawings and specifications.

    * Operate press brakes efficiently to produce accurate bends in sheet metal materials, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

    * Conduct routine inspections of finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality, making adjustments as necessary.

    * Use hand tools and measuring devices such as calipers, protractors, and tape measures to verify part specifications.

    * Prior experience with fabrication processes including bending, grinding, welding, or related manufacturing tasks.

    * Mechanical knowledge of sheet metal properties, tooling setups, and press brake operations.

    * Familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic math skills for precise adjustments.

    * Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

    * Experience working with sheet metal components and understanding of assembly procedures is preferred.

    * Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately.

    * Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting machine issues.
