AM and PM Shifts (rotating)
Duties
* Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines to produce complex parts with precision and efficiency
* Develop and modify CNC programs using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as SolidWorks
* Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate machining
* Perform grinding, welding, and assembly tasks as needed to complete finished components
* Maintain proper tooling, fixtures, and machine calibration for optimal performance
* Conduct quality inspections using hand tools and measurement devices to verify tolerances
* Support the setup and adjustment of machines for plastics injection molding components
* Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting during production
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
Experience
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Programmer in a manufacturing or engineering setting
* Strong mechanical knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and fixture setup
* Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks; experience with CAM programming is highly desirable
* Hands-on experience with grinding, welding, assembly, and the use of power tools
* Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes is a plus
* Ability to read technical drawings and interpret engineering specifications accurately
* Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks
* Knowledge of hand tools, tooling selection, and maintenance procedures
