Syntech Recruitment are recruiting for a Logistics Operative to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business based near Uxbridge.

This is a hands-on logistics role working within a busy manufacturing environment, covering stores, packing, goods movement and internal transport. You'll be responsible for ensuring components and finished products are picked, packed, labelled and moved accurately and efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous stores, warehouse or packing experience looking to build a long-term career within a high-quality engineering environment.

Logistics Operative Responsibilities

*

Pick, pack and issue materials, components and stock

*

Pack finished parts and products in line with technical and customer requirements

*

Check batch numbers, part descriptions and quantities against the SAP system

*

Identify and report any stock or system discrepancies

*

Ensure goods are correctly packed, labelled and prepared for dispatch

*

Liaise with Logistics and Shipping teams to ensure goods are ready on time

*

Receive materials, goods and stock into stores

*

Carry out self-inspection and quality checks on completed work

*

Move goods and materials throughout the manufacturing facility

What We're Looking For

*

Previous stores, warehouse, logistics or packing experience

*

Ideally experience within a manufacturing, engineering or similar environment

*

Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately

*

Comfortable working to deadlines and managing competing priorities

*

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

*

Experience using SAP or similar stock/ERP systems would be advantageous

*

Forklift experience would be beneficial but is not essential
