How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role

    This is a broad role across finance and will take responsibility for all aspects of the business.

    We are looking for an experienced Finance & Purchasing Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day finance and purchasing administration within our growing media agency.

    You will be a natural communicator and will be an innovative thinker, looking to improve on current processes and think outside the box. We want a self-starter who thinks strategically and clearly about how to best achieve goals within the business and grow the department.


    We are looking particularly for someone who:

    • Strong bookkeeping and accounts experience

    • Confident managing finance independently within a small business, with the appetite so support aggressive growth

    • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

    • Comfortable managing suppliers, invoices, and purchasing

    • Good Excel and accounting/software skills

    • Experience with Odoo would be advantageous

    Required Skills & Experience

    • 5+ years’ accounting and bookkeeping experience

    • Experience in using Odoo, QuickBooks or similar and good technical knowledge with the ability to learn quickly.

    • Highly organised to ensure communications are followed up on

    • Being proactive is a must - keeping highly active and being able to motivate yourself is an important part of the job

    • Self-starter that relishes the opportunity to create and manage their own workflow


    You will

    • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records

    • Process and reconcile supplier invoices and purchase orders

    • Manage supplier accounts and resolve invoice queries

    • Set up supplier payments for approval

    • Complete bank and credit card reconciliations

    • Support accounts receivable and credit control

    • Prepare and submit VAT returns

    • Maintain accurate financial information within Odoo

    • Support day-to-day purchasing and supplier management

    • Liaise with our external accountants where required
