How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Real Estate Associate – 1-6 PQE – Elite US Law Firm

    About the Firm

This is an opportunity to join a major US law firm that is firmly established as one of the global elite. The firm’s platform spans the US, UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, enabling seamless execution of cross-border mandates for some of the most sophisticated investors, sponsors and corporate groups worldwide. It is widely recognised for top-tier transactional work alongside a dominant disputes practice, and it operates a low-leverage model that ensures associates gain early and significant exposure to partners and clients. You will benefit from a culture that prioritises excellence, collaboration and professional development, with extensive resources devoted to training, mentoring and career progression.

    The Role

The London real estate practice is thriving and in an exciting phase of strategic expansion. You will join a team recently strengthened with senior lateral hires and focused on providing market leading transactional advice across a diverse range of asset classes, both in the traditional property space and within rapidly growing sectors such as digital infrastructure. The group’s work spans all key stages of the investment lifecycle including acquisitions, disposals, structured joint ventures, portfolio transactions, landlord and tenant work, development projects and financing matters.

Associates in this team regularly handle complex, high-value deals involving multi-jurisdictional elements and challenging structuring issues. The role offers early responsibility, involvement in negotiations and client meetings, and the opportunity to work closely with high-profile partners driving the practice’s growth. Exposure to transactions in data centres and technology-driven assets will form an integral part of the workload, reflecting the client demand within this evolving asset category.

    What They’re Looking For

    • 1-6 PQE qualified in England & Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction)
    • Solid grounding in real estate transactional work, ideally from an international or leading City firm
    • Experience of investment acquisitions/disposals, leasing matters and development projects
    • Comfortable drafting and negotiating key real estate documents, including sale and purchase agreements and leases
    • Ability to manage day-to-day running of transactions, coordinate due diligence and liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders
    • Strong technical ability coupled with sound commercial judgement and excellent communication skills
    • A proactive approach and confidence working directly with both clients and senior lawyers

    Why Apply?

This position offers the chance to join an ambitious, growth-focused team within a leading global platform, working on some of the most high-profile and innovative mandates in the sector. You will enjoy unparalleled exposure to major clients, involvement in cutting-edge real estate and digital infrastructure deals, and a highly attractive package including top of market remuneration and an attractive bonus scheme.
