- Manage claims efficiently from notification to settlement, ensuring swift turnaround times and consistently high service standards
- Negotiate with insurers and markets to achieve optimal outcomes and support long-term client retention
- Provide clear, timely and accurate claims advice to clients as required
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all claims documentation and respond to enquiries relating to claims handling
- Oversee the secure, efficient and auditable handling of client monies, proactively managing claims payments
- Maintain and update internal systems to ensure accuracy, compliance and audit readiness
- Liaise closely with placing teams and other internal stakeholders to ensure overall client requirements are met
- Prepare and analyse claims statistics for internal reporting and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and market contacts
- Perform quality control checks on all claims documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Adhere fully to internal policies, procedures and training requirements, including those relating to compliance, legal and financial crime regulations
- Comply with all external rules and regulatory requirements relevant to the role, including applicable market and regulatory standards
- Promote company values and contribute positively to the organisation’s reputation within the market
