CNC Turner (Late Shift) – Leighton Buzzard - £50,000 to £57,000

CNC Turner / Programmer's Key Responsibilities:

Produce, modify and optimise CNC turning programs directly at the machine using G-code programming.

Set and operate 2-axis CNC lathes to manufacture precision-engineered components to specification.

Interpret complex engineering drawings, tolerances and technical requirements.

Complete full machine set-ups, selecting tooling, materials, speeds and feeds to achieve optimum performance.

Carry out in-process inspection activities to ensure components meet strict quality standards.

Skills & Experience Required as a CNC Turner / Programmer:

Demonstrable experience programming, setting and operating CNC turning machinery.

Strong ability to create CNC programs from scratch with minimal supervision.

Solid understanding of G-code programming principles and machining techniques.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, geometric tolerances and surface finish requirements.

Self-motivated, quality-focused approach with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.

Experience with Fanuc controls and Fanuc Manual Guide i software would be advantageous.
Benefits Package:

Salary of approximately £50,000-£57,000 per annum including shift premium.
