How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    COMPEX Electricians – Humber and Nationwide Industrial Projects

    £32.00–£38.00 per hour
    Enhanced weekend overtime potentially available
    Accommodation, lodge or radius allowances may apply

    MEP Technical Talent is building a regional workforce of qualified COMPEX electricians for upcoming projects around the Humber Bank and other industrial locations throughout the UK.

    We would like to hear from electricians based around Hull, Grimsby, Immingham, Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, including contractors who regularly travel or work away.

    Depending on the project, packages may include:

    *

    Rates between £34.00 and £38.00 per hour

    *

    Enhanced Saturday and Sunday overtime

    *

    Shift and night-work enhancements

    *

    Lodge, accommodation or subsistence allowance

    *

    Radius or travel payments

    *

    Rotational working patterns

    *

    Extended working weeks

    Potential project environments include:

    *

    Petrochemical and process plants

    *

    Energy and utilities

    *

    Manufacturing facilities

    *

    Tank storage and fuel terminals

    *

    Water and wastewater

    *

    Industrial construction and maintenance

    Typical duties may include industrial installation, hazardous-area equipment, containment, cabling, SWA glanding and termination, instrumentation, control systems, inspection and remedial work.

    Current COMPEX EX01–EX04 certification

    ECS/JIB Gold Card

    18th Edition

    Recognised electrical qualification

    Demonstrable industrial or hazardous-area experience
