How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electronics Technician

    Are you an Electronics Technician looking to build long-term technical progression, in a role centred around high-quality electronics build and test? Do you enjoy working from drawings, schematics and test equipment to produce reliable products first time?

    On offer is a permanent position with a European leader in advanced unmanned technology, where you'll be supported with structured development initiatives and a benefits package built for long-term retention and growth.

    You'll be joining a mission-driven engineering organisation operating across areas including digital, defence, security and space, with a focus on delivering cutting-edge solutions in demanding environments.

    In this role you'll manufacture and test PCBs and wiring harnesses, assemble and solder components, and complete inspection/testing using equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.

    This role suits a high-status, development-driven engineer who wants to deepen their electronics skillset, become a recognised technical specialist, and keep progressing in a high-performing environment.

    The Role:

    Manufacture PCBs and wiring harnesses, following drawings/schematics and quality standards
    Test, inspect and fault-find using equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
    On-Site Role based in Swindon

    The Person:
    - Experience assembling and soldering electronic components (PCB build)
    - Able to read and interpret PCB drawings and schematics
    - Confident using electronic test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, multimeter)
